Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease a baking dish with butter.
In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar until well combined. Add melted butter and mix.
In a separate bowl, mix corn flour, wheat flour, salt, and leavening. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring gently.
Add milk and mix until smooth. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle crystal sugar on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the bread rest for a few minutes before serving.
