Delicious homemade garlic bread perfect for barbecue gatherings, combining rich flavors and easy preparation.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 6 pieces pães franceses (preferencialmente amanhecidos)
  • 4 tablespoons maionese
  • 2 tablespoons requeijão cremoso
  • 3 tablespoons alho triturado ou picado
  • 2 tablespoons manteiga derretida
  • 1 tablespoon cheiro-verde picado
  • 1 teaspoon orégano fresco ou seco
  • ½ cup queijo parmesão ralado
  • to taste Sal e pimenta-do-reino

Instructions 

  • Prepare a garlic paste by mixing the crushed garlic with mayonnaise, requeijão, melted butter, chopped parsley, and oregano.
  • Slice the bread and spread the garlic mixture evenly over each piece.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each piece.
  • Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 15 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a touch of chili flakes or grated cheese before baking.
