Instructions
Separate 4 eggs into whites and yolks.
Prepare the eggs.
In a bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar until creamy.
Mix the hot milk with the egg yolk mixture.
Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the mixture.
Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Notes
Use fresh eggs for best results. Let the cake cool before removing from the pan.
