A delicious Brazilian treat, these soft coconut-flavored spoon cookies are perfect for a sweet snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 can leite condensado
  • 3 units ovos
  • 1 can leite
  • 50 g fermento biológico
  • 1 can óleo (350ml)
  • 1 can água morna
  • 5 tbsp açúcar
  • 1 kg farinha de trigo
  • 1 pinch sal
  • 1 cup açúcar (para calda)
  • 1/2 cup leite (para calda)
  • Coco ralado para finalizar (para calda)

Instructions 

  • Combine leite condensado, ovos, leite, fermento, óleo, água morna, açúcar, farinha, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour batter into a greased pan and bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes until golden.
  • Prepare the syrup by mixing sugar, milk, and coconut. Pour over hot baked cake and top with shredded coconut.
