A delicious Brazilian coconut dessert that combines creamy and sweet flavors, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (395 g can, e.g., Moça)
  • 1 can unsweetened cream (200 g can)
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1 cup fresh shredded coconut (or dried without sugar)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)

Decoration

  • to taste extra shredded coconut (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Combine the sweetened condensed milk, cream, coconut milk, shredded coconut, sugar, butter, and vanilla in a pan.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 15 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Pour into a dish and let it cool. Decorate with extra shredded coconut before serving.

Notes

Keep refrigerated and serve chilled for best flavor.
