How to Make the Recipe

Now, let’s dive into the fun part—making our Temaki Frito Crocante!

  1. Start by preparing your sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.
  2. While the rice is cooling, cut your nori sheets into quarters. This will give you the perfect size for your cones.

  4. Fill the cone with your choice of shrimp or crab meat, avocado slices, and cucumber. Don’t forget to add a dollop of cream cheese for that creamy texture!
  5. Carefully fold the nori around the filling to form a cone shape.
  6. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the filled cones in the oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
